Rustam Minnikhanov meets farmers of Bavly region of the republic

On May 22, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a visit to Bavly region of the republic, where at his meeting with local farmers he discussed the current sowing campaign and inspected the implementation of regional programmes for capital repair of social facilities.

At the meeting with heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements, Head of the region Ramil Gatiyatullin reported that the spring sowing campaign is 85 per cent compete, with 28.8 of 33.8 thousand hectares sown, including 18.8 thousand hectares of spring grain.

The meeting also discussed the price situation in the dairy market, subsidies for the purchase of agricultural machinery, as well as repair of roads.

Then, Minnikhanov visited the kindergarten, where repair work is currently underway as part of the regional programme for the construction and repair of pre-school facilities.

Tatarstan President also inspected the local cultural centre, which is also under repair. The renovated facility will be re-opened at the end of this summer. Minnikhanov was told that the centre is very popular among local dwellers.
