Rustam Minnikhanov holds a regular presidium meeting of the Investment Council of the republic

On May 22, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a regular presidium meeting of the Investment Council of the republic to consider a number of investment projects, including two projects based on the public-private partnership.

The members of the presidium approved the project by the KamEnergoMash Company on manufacturing gas turbines and spare parts for energy-gas and petrochemical equipment.

Nizhnekamsk might become the venue for the implementation of the project. The total area of building is 29,000 square metres. The main goal of the project is to increase the market share of domestic power equipment.

The project on manufacturing material from microfiber was considered second. It is planned to establish the Microfiber factory at the Nizhnekamsk industrial park. The factory will be the first in Russia manufacturing synthetic threads from microfiber. The project was also approved.

Two more projects were considered during the meeting.

Then, the presidium considered two projects that could be implemented on terms of the public-private partnership. These are the projects for the construction of a sports complex in Naberezhnye Chelny and urban thermae (sports, recreational) in the republic.

All the projects on the meeting’s agenda were approved by the presidium of the Investment Council of the republic.
