Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of Greater Paris Investment Agency

On May 21, as part of the opening of the new generation 5G network test zone, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with representatives of the Greater Paris Investment Agency (France) in the city of Innopolis.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in partnership with the French business.

He briefed about the economy of the region, emphasized the experience gained by Tatarstan in cooperation with French companies, French banks and also with foreign partners and investors in general.

Minnikhanov reminded that Tatarstan is one of the developed regions of the country and has done a great deal of work in establishing an innovative infrastructure - industrial venues, industrial parks and also worked out legislative acts, tax regimes, etc.

Head of the Board of the Greater Paris project Alexander Missof told the meeting about the project for the development of the urban space that includes over 100 large enterprises. The Greater Paris project responds to modern challenges and integrates all the topics related to the development of the metropolis, including the city's food supply, electricity, transport network, housing construction and others, he said and invited the specialists from Tatarstan to visit Paris and get acquainted with the project.
