Rustam Minnikhanov: It is important for the republic to ensure that the existing industrial sites work

On May 19, speaking at a regional meeting at the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Regional Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiev reported on plans aimed at developing industrial sites in the republic.

The Minister outlined the world trends in the development of industrial sites. He reminded in particular that the world leader in the number of industrial sites for today is China.

Abdulganiev also noted that the amount of investments in industrial sites in the republic is 1.7 times less than in Russia.

"The industrial parks have been operating in Russia for about 10 years, but it is already clear that this is a trend in the development of industrial production," Abdulganiev said. “Success in the development of industrial parks largely depends on the contribution the heads of municipal regions make to this work. The services provided in industrial parks have evolved recently. If earlier there were just sites, now the residents are offered a full range of services, including utilities, consulting, accounting, and legal ones in the industrial parks."

Commenting on the Minister's speech , Minnikhanov noted that today it is important for the republic to ensure that the existing industrial sites work to localize resident companies and develop production. According to him, today some of the sites are not occupied.
