Tatarstan President arrived on a working visit in China

On May 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a two-day working visit in the People's Republic of China to hold meetings with senior officials of Zhejiang and Fujian Provinces and to visit some industrial companies, located in these Provinces.

Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Chairman of the regional State Committee for Tourism Sergey Ivanov, Board Chairman of Ak Bars Bank Zufar Garaev and Trade and Economic Representative of republic in China Marsel Gilyazov are members of the delegation of Tatarstan in China.

Tatarstan President is scheduled to meet senior officials of Zhejiang Provinces, in particular the Secretary of the Communist Party of China Committee of Zhejiang Province Che Jung.

It is also planned to hold the Tatarstan-Zhejiang joint business forum, during which representatives of Chinese business will get acquainted with investment opportunities of our region. A number of agreements are expected to be signed as part of the business forum.

The same day in the afternoon, Minnikhanov intends to get acquainted with the advanced IT technologies and activity in the area of online-commerce of the  internationally known company Alibaba; visit the companies producing video surveillance systems Dahua Technology and Hikvision; and also to get acquainted with the experience of the car manufacturing of the developing Geely Automobile Company.

Tatarstan President is scheduled to meet the Secretary of the Communist Party of China Committee of Xiamen city in Fujian Province Pei Jinjia, and the Tatarstan- Fujian business forum will be held, where representatives of local companies will get acquainted with investment opportunities of Tatarstan. During his visit to the city of Xiamen, Minnikhanov intends to get acquainted with cybersecurity solutions of Meiya Pico Company and the production facility of the buses of King Long United Automotive Industry Co. and the assembly of XGMA loaders and excavators.
