Rustam Minnikhanov meets rector of the Istanbul University of Health Sciences

On April 27, during his working visit to Istanbul, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with rector of the Istanbul University of Health Sciences Cevdet Erdöl.

The University has over 20 scientific research centers and a network of affiliated hospitals. Today, 5,500 students study at the university. The university has the authority to establish its branches outside Turkey, to introduce diploma programmes taught in a foreign language and to implement joint programmes with their foreign partners.

During the conversation, Minnikhanov and Erdöl discussed the issues of development of cooperation in education and healthcare, considered the opportunity to exchange students and teachers.

Also, Eidos-Medicine Company and the Istanbul University of Health Sciences signed a protocol of intent, aimed at developing cooperation in the area of medical simulators.
