Rustam Minnikhanov holds a regular board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding

On April 24, speaking at a regular board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the holding Rafinat Yarullin reported that in the first quarter of 2018 the output of petrochemical products remained at the previous year’s level in Tatarstan. The index of production of petroleum and rubber products made 105.8 and 115.4 per cent accordingly. The production of oil, chemical and plastic products declined, he said. 

Yarullin went on to report that the key enterprises increased their production output by 2.3 per cent. The Tatneft Oil Company’s tire complex, TAIF-NK and Karpov Chemical Plant have the highest growth rates.

The Board also considered a number of innovative technologies for the implementation at the fuel and power enterprises of the republic.  

In particular, the Dechema Chemical Industry Association (Germany) proposed establishing cooperation with the petrochemical enterprises of Tatarstan, which were invited to take part in the ACHEMA World Business Forum (June 11-15, Frankfurt am Main). Speaking at the meeting, President of the Association Tomas Scheuring said that the industrial conference can pave the way for modernization and increase the efficiency of Tatarstan's plants, attract new investors.

Minnikhanov confirmed the participation of Tatarstan companies in the forum and offered to organize business meetings for representatives of Tatarstan enterprises.
