Rustam Minnikhanov meets Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia Yves Rossier

On April 23, at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia Yves Rossier.

Tatarstan President thanked the Ambassador for assistance in preparing the visit of the Tatarstan delegation to Geneva in March this year. He reminded that the business forum with participation of business circles of Tatarstan and Switzerland, meetings with representatives of various Swiss companies were held during the visit. Some of joint projects are already in progress.

Minnikhanov noted that despite the situation in the world, relations between Tatarstan and Switzerland should be maintained and expanded. The trade turnover went up by 20 per cent in 2017. This work should be continued, Tatarstan President stressed.

Tatarstan President said that petrochemical industry, machine building and machine tool industry, IT sphere, pharmaceuticals and medicine, agriculture and other sphere are among promising areas for cooperation.
