Rustam Minnikhanov meets government representatives of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh

On April 16, during his working visit to the city of Visakhapatnam, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met government representatives of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.

Minister of Human Resources Development and Education of Andhra Pradesh state Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Chief Executive Officer of Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board Krishna Kishore took part in the meeting.

Minnikhanov briefed about Tatarstan, its socio-economic development and key segments of the economy - oil extracting,  petrochemistry, machine building, IT and other areas.

Tatarstan President emphasized that the development of cooperation with the state of Andhra Pradesh in the field of pharmaceuticals and information technology is of particular interest to Tatarstan.

During the conversation, the meeting discussed the potential interaction in a number of areas.
