Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated young guests of the Republican New Year tree festive on New year

Children - beautiful future of Tatarstan. This was said by RT President R.N. Minnikhanov at the Republican New year tree festive held in the ice palace of Tatneft arena.

The participants of the main new year show in the republic were 7,5 ths. spectators: the pupils of 7-11 grades, children –orphans and nurslings of children homes, children from large families, five-pointers, winners of the festivals and sports competitions . 2 ths. pupils were invited from towns and regions of the republic. This year a quote for socially unprotected categories has been increased.

Children met head of Tatasrtan by friendly shouts «Happy New year!». «Today a beautiful holyday in the republic – the main New Year tree of Tatarstan. Here the most talented our children. Have got together . I congratulate you all on Happy New Year», - Rustam Minnikhanov said and thanked the producers of the show.

«Tatarstan is rich by our people. You are the future of Tatarstan, - RT President addressed the children. – the best regards to all of you ».

The show was dedicated to the Year of the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai. The script was rooted in heroes of his fables (Shurale, Su Anasy, Altynchyach etc..) and modern favorites of children – Pussy in boots, Masha and Medved , Jack Sparrow and many others . It was not done without Father Frost, of course, and his snowy show and symbol of coming year - Dragon.

Besides, Tatarstan artists, a famous Russian sportsmen on sport and art gymnastic в were involved in a performance. The spectators watched sports-gymnastic show of Olympic champion Aleksei Nemov who was assisted in the performance by Russian artist of ballet, choreograph and actor Gediminas Taranda. Both arrived in Kazan and the spectators of the republican New year tree. Within the show a famous painter Leisan ytyashova and “flying basketball players- acrobats” performed.

A final accord at the Republican festive was sounded by pop star Nyusha . Each spectator received a new year present – a box of candies packed in a toy «Dragon-skier» with symbol of the forthcoming Universiade 2013 in Kazan .
