Tatarstan President meets Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi

On April 9, during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the meeting, Minnikhanov thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the hospitality and briefed about the development of the Tatarstan-Emirates relations, on their possible growth potential. “The United Arab Emirates is our leading partner in the region. Tatarstan traditionally takes part in the International Defense Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) and the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai. The business community of your country regularly takes part in the International Economic Summit of Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The 10th Anniversary  International Economic Summit  to be held on May 10-12 this year and a representative delegation of Emirates and business mission headed by UAE Minister of Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori are expected to take part in it,” Minnikhanov emphasized and invited the Crown Prince to visit Tatarstan as part of his visit to Russia. 

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Deputy Director of the Department for External Relations of Tatarstan Marat Gatin, Trade and Economic Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in Dubai Timur Khairutdinov took part in the meeting.
