Farid Mukhametshin: «Not in all regions of Russia Public chamber enjoys such a support as in Tatarstan»

Today Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in a session of Public chamber of Tatarstan where the report was made on activity of this important institution of civil society in 2011.

Vice RT Prime minister Zilya Valeeva, deputies of RT State Council Valentina Lipuzhina, Marat Galeev , Shakir Yagudin, Svetlana Zakharova Anastasia Isaeva, representatives of the ministries and institutions, broad public took part in the session.

Public chamber of «third convocation» has worked already more half of the term and manifested that it is capable efficiently to solve the faced tasks, become a reputable platform for broad discussion of social-political development problems of Tatarstan. This is the main leitmotif of a sounded report.

In 2011, 5 sessions of Public chamber, 12 sessions of chamber council were held, over 70 public hearings, 5 scientific –practical conferences were arranged.

Big analytical and expert work has been fulfilled, only in year 2011, 77 draft legislative and normative-legal acts projects considered.

Certainly, there were some problems in the activity of Public chamber.

Chairman of Public chamber Ilgiz Khairull in a self criticizing way told about them. «Civil society requires more partner relation to itself», - he stressed in his speech.

Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin marked that always with a big interest participates in sessions of Public chamber. «This is new institution of civil society which already had taken its niche in the republic. Not in all regions of Russia Public chamber enjoys such a support of state power», - Farid Mukhametshin enhanced.

Head of the republican parliament thanked session participants for active civil society and he also noted that « the pessimism which sounded in some speeches is inappropriate judging by growth rates the republic today is progressing».

«For pessimists it is more difficult to live, more difficult to perceive many innovations», - concluded head of the parliament».

«By basic social economic indices the republic steadily holds leading positions and this a result of our joint work», - Farid Mukhametshin underlined. Industrial production is growing.

Mechanical engineering is getting out of crisis.

A lot of housing is commissioned.
Modernization educational program «Kilechek» has been launched.

Under the republican program «Belekech» over 11 ths. new places have been created in kindergartens.
In order not to lag behind Tatarstan is engaged in developing electronic government, implementing techno-parks and free economic zones.

After the hardest last year draught the republic’s agriculture is restoring its positions. «I do not hide, we had serious concerns regarding food safety, - précised head of the republican parliament, - honestly speaking, I got surprised how calamity may mobilize our people».

Only with general efforts we have managed to save cattle, stored forage for 1,5 - 2 years ahead.

Harvested 5,5 mln.t. grain. We are capable to put the tasks on increasing agricultural production, especially milk.

Speaking about public-political situation in the country and the republic, Farid Mukhametshin stressed specifically that «coming year 2012 will not be easy», first of all because it starts fro election campaign on electing President of the Russian Federation. «I think that election campaign in Tatarstan will take place in an organized way», - head of parliament assured .
