Rustam Minnikhanov meets Ambassador of Belgium to Russia Jean Arthur Regibeau

On April 4, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Ambassador of Belgium to Russia Jean Arthur Regibeau to discuss prospects for trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, issues on the organization of work of business structures.

Tatarstan has gained significant experience of interaction with Belgium as part of Russian-Belgian relations. The factory of the Belgian company “Drylock Technologies” manufacturing hygienic products for children and adults was opened at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone in autumn last year.

Minnikhanov told the Ambassador about large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented in Tatarstan, about the economic and investment potential of the republic.

During the meeting, they also discussed issues of accomodation football players of Belgium national team and fans during FIFA World Cup 2018 in Kazan. “We are ready to create all conditions for athletes and fans from Belgium for comfortable staying in our republic,” Minnikhanov said.
