Rustam Minnikhanov expresses his condolences on the death of former Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Viktor Erin

On March 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his condolences on the death of former Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, native of Kazan Viktor Erin. Tatarstan President sent a relevant telegram to his wife Lyubov Erina.

“Dear Lyubov Leonidovna!

I was deeply saddened to learn of the death of your husband Viktor Fedorovich Erin - Hero of Russia, an experienced statesman, a courageous and strong person.

He headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the difficult years of political and social reforms in the country and made a significant contribution to the improvement the activities of law enforcement agencies and foreign intelligence services. His passing is a great loss to Russia, and also to Tatarstan, where he was born and began his career.

Please accept sincere words of condolence and sympathy in connection with this irreparable loss to you, to your whole family. Death has taken away from you loved one, a faithful friend friend and pillar. Let the cherished memory of a long life together help you and your children to accept and get this grief over.
