Rustam Minnikhanov gives an errand to check all communal facilities of the republic

On March 17, during the regional meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to carry out inspection of all communal facilities of the republic.

Minnikhanov noted that it is necessary to carry out a full inventory of equipment and facilities of housing and utilities of the republic. “You should check all vital facilities. Each boiler room, water abstraction, wastewater treatment plants, gas supply system - everything should work reliably,” Minnikhanov said.

Today, at three o'clock in the morning, there was a message at the system "112"  about an explosion in the boiler house at Portovaya street, 17 in Kazan. The building belongs to Kazenergo company. There was a partial collapse of the middle part and roof of the boiler house on an area of 60 square metres. There are no victims and no deaths in the incident. The cause of the collapse is being established.

As many as 12 five-storied houses with the population of 1,589 people, including 320 children, as well as one kindergarten are under heat outage.

Hot water and gas supply are not violated.

On the instructions of Tatarstan President, an extraordinary meeting of the Commission for Emergency Situations of the republic will be organized, during which it is planned to establish measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
