Rustam Minnikhanov addresses Tatarstan residents on the eve of the Russian presidential election

On March 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov addressed residents of Tatarstan on the eve of the Russian presidential election to be held this Sunday, on the 18th of March.

“Dear compatriots! Dear residents of Tatarstan!

On the 18th of March we will elect the President of the country.

The election campaign is being held in difficult political conditions.

No one in the world needs a strong, resurgent Russia. But the multinational people of Russia need it.

Tatarstan and Tatarstan residents feel themselves as an inseparable part of the united country. Russia is our Motherland!

The successful development of the republic contributed to the meaningful holding of elections.

The overwhelming majority of citizens are in favor of this policy, for maintaining social and political stability. They all understand that a strong and authoritative leader whose affairs and political course are clear to everyone should head the country.

Dear friends! I ask you to take an active part in the election.

Choosing the President of Russia, we vote for peace and prosperity, for the comprehensive strengthening of the power of Russia.
