Rustam Minnikhanov promises dwellers of Yudino settlement to build an ice rink

On March 15, at his meeting with dwellers of Kazan settlement of Yudino and workers of Kazan Territorial Department of the Gorky Railway, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that a new ice rink with synthetic ice will be built in the settlement.

"We are considering several options for inexpensive sports grounds. I have given an errand. Now we are evaluating small ice rinks. I promise you that one of the ice rinks with synthetic ice will be built here,” Tatarstan President said.

Minnikhanov also said that it is planned to repair the Cultural Centre of Railway Workers, noting that it was built more than 90 years ago. "As far as I know, last time it was repaired in 1996 and need to be repaired again," he said.

Tatarstan President also talked about the Youth Centre, which was built by railway workers in the Soviet era and was sold by the Russian Railway to a private individual.

"It is completely wrong that the cultural facility, the Youth Centre, was sold to a private individual. As a rule, such facilities are transferred to the municipality and even with further funding. We are ready to repair it so that it functions. I even asked Mayor of Kazan to know how much it costs. We are ready to buy the Youth Centre, to put it in order  so that children could attend it,” Minnikhanov stressed.
