Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan Combined Heat and Power Plant No. 2: Reliable energy supply is the guarantee of the development of the republic

On March 15, speaking at his meeting with workers of the Kazan Combined Heat and Power Plant No. 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that modernization of the plant has made it possible to significantly improve its efficiency.

Tatarstan President noted that reliable energy supply is the guarantee of the development of the republic. “We are an industrial republic and we do not see Tatarstan without ambitious projects in the energy, petrochemical, engineering spheres,” he said.

He thanked the staff for their well-coordinated work. “The numbers for 2017 demonstrate efficiency, profit, other positive indicators, the use of conventional fuel per kilowatt of energy, work on the heat supply of the capital and other our cities. You do this work systematically,” he noted.

According to the President, the Tatenergo Energy Company is doing a great job to upgrade the facilities. It is planned to modernize the regional power station in the town of Zainsk . “I am sure that we will be able to address these serious issues thanks to your experience and skills and with our support,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
