Rustam Minnikhanov meets with businessmen of Pomeranian Voivodeship (the Republic of Poland)

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with businessmen of Pomeranian Voivodeship (the Republic of Poland).
The meeting was held within the confines of an official dinner on behalf of the Government of Pomeranian Voivodeship with participation of the Government officials, Mayor of Gdansk city and entrepreneurs.
Tatarstan delegation was presented by Director of Department for external relations- Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Chief of RT investment development agency Linar Yakupov, and Director-general of ZAO “Innovative production technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko.
Businessmen of Pomeranian Voivodeship presented opportunities and activities of their companies, told about projects being realized jointly with Russian companies and enterprises. Prospects of business relationships with Tatarstan businessmen were also discussed at the meeting.
Chief of RT investment development agency Linar Yakupov and Head of the similar agency in Pomeranian Voivodeship exchanged opinions regarding development of entrepreneurship.

Pomeranian Voivodeship is located in the North of Poland, by the Baltic Sea. The Voivodeship numbers 2,2 mln citizens and occupies the area of 18 thousand km². The capital is Gdansk city.
In terms of entrepreneurship characterized by the number of registered firms for 1000 citizens, Pomeranian Voivodeship takes the second place in Poland.
Main economic sectors in the region are sea farming, fuel and chemistry industries, mechanical engineering, building, agricultural and food industries, furniture and clothes production, electric and energy industries, agriculture, fishery and fish breeding, trade.
