Marat Akhmetov: The sowing campaign is estimated to be over 20 billion roubles in Tatarstan

On March 3, in the Government House of the republic, speaking at a video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of all municipalities, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov reported on the financial costs required for field works in Tatarstan.

Akhmetov said that over 20 billion roubles will be needed for the sowing campaign this spring, including the cost of mineral fertilizers, plant protection products, seeds, etc.

The Minister went on to report on forms of the regional and federal budgetary support for agricultural producers. In particular, he said that farms received 960 million roubles in 2018 and these funds are largely aimed at purchasing compound fertilizers.
