Agreement on cooperation between Tatarstan and Rosselkhozbank signed

On February 20, at the Governor’s Palace in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of the Board of Rosselkhozbank Dmitry Patrushev signed an agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Agricultural Bank.

Just before the signing of the agreement, Minnikhanov met with senior executives of Rosselkhozbank headed by Patrushev.

During the meeting, they discussed issues of further mutually beneficial cooperation. “Rosselkhozbank is a long-standing strategic partner of the republic,” Minnikhanov said, welcoming the guests. "The loan portfolio of the branch is over 26 billion roubles and is constantly increasing.

The amount of the deposited client’s funds in the bank is also increasing and has reached 30 billion roubles. Rosselkhozbank made a significant contribution to the successes of our agro-industrial complex, because we carry out systematic work.

Tatarstan ranks third among the regions on output volume of agricultural products," he continued.

Minnikhanov noted that in 2017 agricultural producers were given 1.7 billion roubles of investment credits and much attention was paid to small forms of farming.

Rosselkhozbank is the largest investor of our seasonal work, Minnikhanov said, this is a firm position of the bank. He expressed his gratitude for the work carried out by the branches of the bank for the allocation of funds to the agricultural producers.

Patrushev noted that the bank has been operating in the region since 2006. Currently it has 27 branches of the bank in Tatarstan, and there are prospects of opening new branches in large cities of the republic.

In total, over 140 billion roubles were invested in the economy of the region since 2006, loans with the total amount of 20 billion roubles were granted in 2017, including about six billion roubles  for small and medium-sized business, Patrushev noted.
