Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in the opening of fire-applied sport competitions in Kazan

On February 14, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the opening of the All-Russian Competitions for the Cup of the Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, the drawing of the Cup of the Prime Minister of the republic and the Championship of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Cup of the All-Russian Central Council on fire-applied sport.

Welcoming the participants of the competitions, Pesoshin noted that a number of major international events have taken place in Tatarstan recently. This summer Kazan will host matches of the FIFA  World Cup. At the same time, special attention is paid to fire-applied sports in the republic, the Prime Minister stressed.

The competitions will be held in Kazan from 14 to 19 February, 2018. All the teams went through a serious qualifying round.
