About 1000 private households to appear in Tatarstan after realization of the program on increasing business activity of villagers

On November 22 Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin visited Pestretsy municipal region. The main purpose of the trip is inspection of family farms and private households, and participation in zonal seminar-meeting on issues of increasing business activity of rural population and development of new forms of husbandry.

Head of Republican parliament visited family farm in a village Bolshye Butyrki and poultry complex “Ak Bars”. The most exciting event of the program was granting keys from new flats to veterans of Great Patriotic War.

Results of the tour around minor farms of Pestretsy region were summarized at a zonal seminar-meeting on issues of development of private households and increasing business activity of villagers.

Support of rural areas is a social-political problem, Minster of agriculture and foodstuff Marat Akhmetov stressed. Today about 1 mln people live in the country, every fourth resident of Republic.

“Agricultural sector is recovering after last year’s strong drought. This year was more favorable”, Marat Akhmetov informed.

Summing up, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin emphasized republican leadership is going to continue working on developing private husbandries with the help of heads of settlements.

He reminded as well that at the last convention of municipal formations Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov set the task, - living conditions in the country should not be worse than in the city. Roads are being constructed, schools are being repaired, kindergartens are being opened.

Chairman of State Council Committee on ecology, nature use and agrarian issues Valery Vasiliev, Head of Pestretsy municipal region Shaikhulla Nasybullin took part in work of the seminar-meeting.

Finally, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council met with regional activists.
