On January 30, in the Government House of the republic, at a board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, it was reported that petrochemical enterprises of the republic shipped products for the sum of more than 1.2 thrillion roubles in 2017.
Director General of Tatneftekhiminvest Holding Rafinat Yarullin said that over 272 billion roubles were paid to budgets of all levels, including 58 billion roubles assigned to the consolidated budget of the republic. The contributions to the federal budget and extra-budgetary funds increased 1.5 times, while the payments to the regional budget went up by 13 per cent only.
In general, in 2017 the output in the petrochemical complex remained at the previous year’s level. Since the launch of the Development Programme for 2015-2019, the growth rate has made 103 per cent, which is below the plan. The figure exceeded only in the oil production sector.
As many as 35.7 million tonnes of oil were produced in the republic for a year, with the growth rate slowed down. Russia's obligations to OPEC became a deterrent. The volume of oil exports from the country remained at the previous year’s level, while revenues increased by one third. Tatneft Oil Company produced 28 million 586 thousand tons of oil in 2017, 6 per cent of which is extra-viscous oil.
Then, the meeting considered a number of innovative energy-saving technologies to be introduced at the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of Tatarstan.
