Rustam Minnikhanov meets Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Hyun Joon

On January 30, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Hyun Joon discussed issues of cooperation as part of relations between Russia and Korea.

Minnikhanov expressed his hope that the problematic issues on the Korean peninsula will be resolved, and that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and South Korea will compete in the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang under the same flag.

Minister of Industry and Tradde of the republic Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazan Radik Vakhitov and other officials took part in the meeting.
