SINOMACH Chinese national corporation is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan

On January 23, in Davos, during a meeting between Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior executives of SINOMACH Chinese national machine-building corporation, it was noted that SINOMACH is interested in cooperation with Tatarstan.

SINOMACH is a world-famous manufacturer of multi-purpose machine-building equipment for such branches of industry as power engineering, metallurgy, agriculture and forestry, transport, construction, shipbuilding, light industry, environment, aeronautics, and astronautics. The main activities of the corporation include the development and production of equipment, general contracting of projects, and rendering of services. SINOMACH Corporation is included in the rating of the 500 world's largest companies.

Minnikhanov  and senior managers of SINOMACH Corporation discussed options for cooperation in the agricultural sector and in the sphere of ecology. Moreover, they talked about possible localization of the facilities for the production of tractors in Tatarstan or the production of components for tractors at one of the regional industrial sites.

The meeting also discussed issues of cooperation in the petrochemical cluster. Following the meeting, Minnikhanov gave an errand to set up a working group to look into options for cooperation with SINOMACH in the field of oil refining, as well as the participation of SINOMACH in the construction of a new ethylene complex in Tatarstan.
