Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in the session of the Council of Pestrechinsky municipal region of the republic concerning the change of the Head of the region

On January 17, at the regional House of Culture of Pestretsy, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the extraordinary session of the Council of Pestrechinsky municipal region of the republic of the third convocation.

The Head of Pestrechinsky municipal region of the republic Eduard Diyarov opened the session.

The main issues on the meeting's agenda are early resignation of the Head of the region and the election of the new Head.

The people’s deputies accepted the voluntary resignation of Diyarov due to a transfer to another job.

Pesoshin noted Diyarov’s contribution to socio-economic development of the region.

“Having worked in Pestrechinsky region  in various positions for 12 years, and as the Head of the region during the past five years, Eduard Diyarov has made significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the region,” Pesoshin said.

Prime Minister handed in the Letter of Acknowledgement of Tatarstan President for his contribution  to the socio-economic development of the region.

The Head of the Cabinet of Ministries of Tatarstan noted that the authoritative and responsible leader should be elected for the post of the Head of Pestrechinsky municipal region.

“Having carefully studied the deputy corps, President Rustam Minnikhanov assigned me to submit for consideration by people’s deputies of the region a proposal to elect Ilkham Kashapov as the Head of the region,” Pesoshin said.  

At the extraordinary session of the Council of Pestrechinsky municipal region of the republic of the third convocation a new head of the region Ilkham Kashapov was elected by people’s deputies by secret vote.

In response, Kashapov noted that the main tasks as the Head of the region he concerns to improve the standard of living of the people, to create modern working and living conditions of citizens and to create  favourable environment for investment in economy of the region.
