Rustam Minnikhanov has a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Russian Federation Renée Jones-Bos

On January 16, on the sidelines of the Gaidar Forum 2018 in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Russian Federation Renée Jones-Bos.

According to Minnikhanov, the Netherlands is one of the main trade partners of Tatarstan. For nine months of the last year trade turnover between Tatarstan and the Netherlands increased by a third and exceeded 1.6 billion dollars.

Minnikhanov reminded that a plant of DSM Dutch company producing high-quality premixes (vitamin feed mixtures for the livestock industry) was opened in Naberezhnye Chelny in 2011. The second stage was launched in 2016.

Tatarstan successfully cooperates with the Dutch companies in agro-industrial area, machine building, petrochemistry, informatization, IT, banking and innovation approaches. 

Tatarstan President emphasized that cooperation in the area of healthcare is significant.

Minnikhanov and Jones-Bos considered the prospects for further expanding of Tatarstan-Netherlands cooperation and discussed opportunities of development of joint projects in healthcare and agro-industrial complex.
