Large scale collection of wishes from citizens on issues of improving of the urban environment to be organized in Tatarstan

On January 13, at the meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to his Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman and Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities of the republic Irek Faizullin to organize citizens’ direct voting to choose priorities in the development of public spaces and urban areas in spring in Tatarstan.

Reconstruction programme of public spaces such as yards, parks, beaches and other urban territories will be implemented according to the results of preferential voting.

In accordance with the Russian Government Decree, preferential voting for choosing the project of reconstruction of public spaces becomes obligatory from 2018.

Faizullin said that two billion roubles from the regional budget and 655 million108,900 roubles from the federal budget will be allocated on the priority project “The formation of a comfortable urban environment” . It is planned to improve 57 facilities of public spaces as many as 26 parks, 17 beaches, 6 streets, 3 avenues and one square.
