Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov holds reception of citizens in the regional reception office of Russian President

On December 26, in the regional public reception office of Russian President in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhnov held a reception of citizens.

Some people, who signed up for today’s reception, came personally, some people from Zelenodolsk and Almetyevsk municipal regions voiced their requests by video-link.

The first request concerned the Centre for assistance to children with hearing disabilities “GovorUshi”. This social project has been implemented since 2010. For today, the services provided by the Centre are in demand among families with children with hearing disabilities and there is a need for larger facilities. Minnikhanov gave an errand to Kazan city administration to find a suitable facility and to estimate the cost of its repair.

A school-girl addressed Tatarstan President with a request to assist her in printing postcards with views of Kazan and Tatarstan, which she creates. She told Minnikhanov about the post-crossing movement. The project appeared as an opportunity to get and send postcards around the world. Postcards with the views of Tatarstan and Kazan will contribute to raising interest to the region and its sights to attract tourists.

Minnikhanov appreciated the project and promised to send her a post-crossing card. He also asked Tatmedia Agency and Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism to work on the implementation of the post-crossing project in the republic.

The next request concerned a social project aimed at the  rehabilitation and adaptation of children  through their contacts with plants and animals. The project presented by the founder of charity organization “Dobrye serdtsa” was launched together with the Kazan Zoo, but the greenhouse of the Zoo is not spacious enough to house a large number of children wishing to participate in this kind of therapy.

According to Minnikhanov, using the Kazan Equestrian Centre to implement the project will allow a large number of children who need zoo-therapy to be involved into the activity. Moreover, it is possible to make the most use of the hippo-therapy at the Kazan Equestrian Complex.

Following the reception, a protocol of errands of Tatarstan President will be made.

Chief Federal Inspector in Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, heads of some municipal regions of the republic took part in the reception.
