Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a ceremony to award laureates of the regional public contest "Manager of the Year-2017"

On December 25, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials took part in a ceremony to award laureates of the regional public contest “Manager of the Year – 2017”.

Welcoming the participants and guests of the ceremony, Minnikhanov briefly summarized the results of the expiring year, set the main tasks for 2018, noted the contribution of the directorate of the republic to solving the tasks of social and economic development and congratulated everyone on the coming New Year, wishing success in work, health, and family well-being.

According to Minnikhanov, it is due to achievements in the economy that the republic is in position to implement large-scale social projects, increase the volume of capital construction using budgetary and extra-budgetary funds, and perform much road maintenance work.

During the ceremony, Minnikhanov handed in a number of state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan, including the Duslyk Order, the medal of the Order of Merit to the Republic of Tatarstan, the medal For Valorous Labor and others.

Tatarstan President also handed over the eighth volume of the Book of of philanthropists and letters of gratitude of the Regional Foundation of Revival of Historical and Cultural Monuments of Republic of Tatarstan to heads of enterprises and organizations that rendered significant support to the revival of historical and cultural heritage facilities in 2017, including Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Director General of TAIF Investment and Production Company Albert Shigabutdinov, Head of the State Expertise and Pricing Department of the Republic of Tatarstan for Construction and Architecture Mazit Salikhov.

Then, the names of 25 laureates – the winners of the contest in 2017 were announced.
