Rustam Minnikhanov opens a new skating rink in the Black Lake park in Kazan

On December 25, in the Black Lake central city park in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Aide to Tatarstan President Natalia Fishman and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin took part in the opening of a new skating rink.

The Black Lake park, a favourite place of the citizens and guests of the city, was renovated due to the regional programme for the development of parks and squares. It is this public space that will become a central venue for holding of the Year of the Theater in Russia and the Year of Leo Tolstoy in Tatarstan.

After the reconstruction, there is a Christmas tree and a unique art object in the form of a huge chandelier, numerous garlands and illumination in the park. The main feature of the park is a huge skating rink with an area of ​​6,000 square meters. Thanks to waterproofing the bottom of the lake, the citizens of Kazan can now have rest here both in summer and in winter.
