Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a commissioning ceremony of Kovali-1 and Mikhailovka-1 fuel transfer stations

On December 18, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a commissioning ceremony of fuel transfer stations such us Kovali-1 of Kazan Oil Pipeline Department and Mikhailovka-1 of Almetyevsk Oil Pipeline Department.

As noted at the ceremony, the project aims to increase network power of the main oil pipeline.

Speaking about the implementation of the Sever-25 project , Director General of Transneft Kama Region Oil Pipeline Company Robert Galiev said that a total length of trunk oil pipelines of the Sever-25 project is 1,929 kilometres.

As many as 32 objects are being reconstructed and built under the project throughout the country, he continued.

Galiev said that the construction and the complex testing of Kovali-1 and Mikhailovka-1 projects were completed, with all the documents permitting the commissioning of the facilities signed. 

Then, two oil pipeline departments were officially launched.

The facilities were commissioned as part of an important state investment project "Sever-25", which is implemented according to the Energy Strategy of Russia for the period until 2030 to increase supplies of oil products to Primorsk Port.

Minnikhanov congratulated the staff of Transneft and Transneft Kama Region Oil Pipeline Company on the launching of the new projects.
