"This has become a good tradition, which we do appreciate," Minikhanov said. He also expressed his gratitude to the Russian Minister for supporting the republic in achieving the balanced budget this year. "Our obligations under federal budget loans have been restructured," Minnikhanov said. “We decided to send some funds to execute the "May decrees" of the President of Russia."

According to him, own revenues of the regional consolidated budget are expected to amount to 250 billion roubles this year, with 6.9 per cent growth as compared to the previous year. The positive dynamics in the revenues is due to the economic revitalization, Minnikhanov continued.

Minnikhanov noted that the results Tatarstan has achieved are recognized at the federal level. The republic has been the leader in the rating of the effectiveness of the executive authorities of the Russian regions for the sixth year in a row.

"We are also the leaders among the regions that have reached the best indicators in terms of the social and economic development of the territory," Tatarstan President said.  “Following the results of 2016, we will receive 1 billion 674 million roubles and this is the second line. We need to work even more intensively. "

"Now it is important to maintain the positive dynamics in the economy and the growth in budget revenues to fulfill all the assigned spending powers," Minnikhanov further stated.
