Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the laying of the foundation stone of the Green Residential Complex

On November 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Finnish Ambassador to Russia Mikko Hautala took part in a ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Green Residential Complex.

A new residential complex will be built by YIT Kazan, a subsidiary of the Finnish construction company, which will invest three billion roubles in the project. It is planned to build six houses with different heights for 1,041 apartments with a total area of 44,600 square metres. The construction of the project is estimated to be completed by the third quarter of 2019.

In addition to houses, the project developer plans to build a parking with shops and offices, a kindergarten for 140 children with a big playground and an embankment.

According to Minnikhanov, the laying of the foundation stone is a remarkable event for the republic.

Besides, the development of YIT company is an outstanding example of the openness of Tatarstan to Finnish investments, he added.
