On November 9, during his working visit to Arsk municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremonial opening of a new secondary school for 500 students.

Minnikhanov congratulated the gathered on this event and thanked the builders for erecting a high-quality school building in a short time.

“May this school be good for Arsk region and prepare good students”, he said.

The President continued that over the last five years, 926 schools have been totally renovated, and the fourth new secondary school has been opened this year. He also noted that local schools have been built with the support from the federal government.

Head of Arsk municipal region Ilshat Nuriev thanked the president and the regional authorities for the support. He reminded that Minnikhanov usually visits the region at the end of the year to mark a significant event.  “Three years ago a new ice palace was opened, a new kindergarten and a hospital were opened last year, and a new school has been opened this year,” Nuriev said.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov and other officials looked around a new house with 24 apartments built under the social mortgage programme.
