Industrial park with engineering centre “Karavaevo” is to be created in Kazan. The industrial park will be founded on the basis of Kazan research institute of aviation technology.

Such information was given by Chief of Agency for investment development Linar Yakupov at a briefing in RT Cabinet. Currently there are 70 resident companies functioning on the territory of Kazan research institute of aviation technology. These companies are engaged in realizing production in Tatarstan, Russia and abroad.

On September,17,2011 RT Premier Ildar Khalikov held a travelling session on this issue. New industrial park should help with foundation of innovative enterprises of small and medium business, integration in the sphere of engineering, motor industry, production of auto components, etc. Moreover, it is expected to favour attraction of state and private investments.
