Tatarstan President arrives in United Arab Emirates to take part in WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017

On October 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit to Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) to attend competitions, awarding and closing ceremonies of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.

On October 18, Rustam Minnikhanov will visit different competitions and study a specially created infrastructure at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The itinerary also includes the meeting with the CEO of «Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions» company, president of the Annual Investment Meeting in Dubai Dawood Al Shezawi.  «Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions» is one of the leading organizers of exhibitions and conferences in UAE.

During the closing ceremony the flag of WorldSkills will be handed over to Russia that will host WorldSkills competitions in Kazan in 2019. The flag will be handed over to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government, chairman of the organizing committee of WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan Olga Golodets, together with Tatarstan President and Deputy chairman of the organizing committee Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Director general of the Union “Young professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) Robert Urazov, and Director general of The State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom Alexey Likhachev.
