800,000 trees planted under the campaign “The week of forest-2017” in Tatarstan

On October 10, at a briefing at the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Acting Minister of Forestry of the republic Emir Bedertdinov said that more than 800,000 trees were planted under the campaign “The week of forest-2017” in Tatarstan.

The speaker noted that the “Tree planting day” was held under All-Russia campaign “Live, forest!” in the Year of ecology and public spaces in the republic. He informed that 3.5 mln trees at the area of 424 hectares were planted during the campaign in Tatarstan.
