Prime Minister of Tatarstan plants a memorable alley of fir trees in Kazan

On October 7, as part of the Week of Forest 2017 campaign held in the Vakhitov Park in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin planted a memorable alley of fir trees.

As part of the campaign, a total of 250 hectares were planted with trees, the territory was cleaned up from debris, fallen and dead trees. About 30,000 citizens of the republic, including employees of the regional enterprises, employees of the regional Cabinet of Ministers, people’s deputies of Tatarstan State Council, employees of ministries and departments, teachers and students, took part in the event.

The event is aimed to attract public attention to the problems of conservation, reproduction of forests resources and is held as part of the all-Russia campaign "Live, Forest!".
