Tatarstan President meets Board Chairman of the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone Vakhit Yildirim

On September 22, at their meeting in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone Vakhit Yildirim discussed issues related to establishing a joint industrial zone at the Sviyazhk interregional multimodal logistics centre.

Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan is interested in cooperation with Gebze. "I have no doubt that we will succeed," he said. “This site has a great potential for development. You have invaluable experience in organizing industrial zones and working with investors,” Tatarstan President continued.

Rustam Minnikhanov offered to start work on attracting potential residents to the new industrial zone. 

Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Albert Karimov, Aide to Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Aide to Tatarstan President Albert Nafigin, Minister of Economy of the republic Artem Zdunov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Taliya Minullina, Head of the Zelenodolsk municipal region Aleksandr Tygin and General Director of Alabuga Special Economic Zone Timur Shagivaleev took part in the meeting.
