Rustam Minnikhanov launches new production in Nizhnekamsk

On September 8, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Nizhnekamsk Aidar Metshin, Director General of OAO TAIF Albert Shigabutdinov, Board chairman of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim pharmaceutical company Vladimir Busygin and Director General of PJSC Nizhnekamskneftekhim Azat Bikmurzin took part in a solemn launching of new high-concentrated formaldehyde production unit at Nizhnekamskneftekhim pharmaceutical company in Nizhnekamsk.

The new unit with the capacity of 100 thousand tonnes per year is one of three projects implemented under the programme of increasing the production of isoprene rubber. Construction of two more units producing isobutylene and isoprene will be completed by the end of this year. The new high-efficiency unit was constructed using the latest international technologies.  

The presentation of state awards was also held at Nizhnekamskneftekhim today.
