Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the ceremony of signing agreement on cooperation between König Ludwig International and Tatspirtprom AO

On September 5, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the ceremony of signing agreement on cooperation between König Ludwig International GmbH & CO. KG (KLI) and Tatspirtprom AO at Crocus Expo exhibition international center.

Managing partner of König Ludwig International GmbH & CO. KG Prince Luitpold of Bavaria and Director General of Tatspirtprom AO Irek Minnakhmetov signed the agreement. The agreement stipulates the right of the Tatarstan company for using intelligent property that includes production and sale of the Bavarian beer brands in Russia and Tatarstan.

The parties discussed prospects of mutually beneficial cooperation. Rustam Minnikhanov told about business contacts established between the republic and Bavarian leadership, and cooperation between the two regions.

Tatspirtprom AO is currently building a brewery at Chistopol industrial park. The agreement stipulates the production of Kaltenberg and Konig Ludwig premium beer over ten years.  

The contract with Krones AG for the supply of German brewing equipment to the plant was signed on May 11, 2017.
