Rustam Minnikhanov opens the fourth regional field olympiad of young geologists

On July 12, speaking at the opening ceremony of the fourth regional field olympiad of young geologists, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that a geologist is not just the choice and decision of young people, many of them are into the profession from school.

Welcoming participants of the event, Minnikhanov reminded that representatives of 36 teams from all regions of Tatarstan, as well as guests - young geologists from Kazakhstan and Bakhchsarai region of the Republic of Crimea are taking part in the field olympiad of young geologists this year.

Speaking at the event, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov noted that a geologist is one of the most respected professions among oil workers, and its popularity grows every year.

The fourth regional field olympiad of young geologists is held from the 11th to 17th of July at Solnechny and Druzhba children's health camps in Almetyevsky municipal region of the republic.
