Rustam Minnikhanov meets Chairman of the Portuguese Parliament Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues

On May 30, during his two-day working visit to Lisbon, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Chairman of the Portuguese Parliament Eduardo Ferro Rodrigues.

Minnikhanov thanked Rodrigues for the opportunity to meet and expressed his hope that this visit will give an impetus to the development of cooperation between Portugal and Tatarstan as part of Russia-Portugal relations.

Minnikhanov said that during his stay in Lisbon, he visited Tagushpark, had a meeting with senior officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Portugal. Moreover, the Portugal-Tatarstan business forum, where the investment and economic potential of the region was presented was held today, he noted.

We are interested in expanding business contacts with your country, in implementing joint projects, Minnikhanov said during his meeting with Eduard Ferro Rodrigues.

Tatarstan is ready for further expansion of mutually beneficial relations with Portugal, Minnikhanov added.
