Tatarstan President visits Atninsky and Arsky regions of the republic

On May 10, accompanied by Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov paid a working visit to Atninsky and Arsky municipal regions of the republic to get acquainted with the progress of spring field works.

Upon arrival in Antinsky region, Minnikhanov, accompanied by regional head Gabdulakhat Khakimov, inspected the Tan livestock breeding complex, which is under construction. The construction of a new dairy complex for 1000 heads of a dairy herd started in 2016. It is planned to put the facility into operation this year. Sixteen people (operators, engineers) will be involved in the production process.

At the meeting with farmers, head of the region reported on the progress of sowing works. For today, 19,500 hectares or 56 per cent of the area have been sown.

Upon his arrival in Arsky region, Tatarstan President made a helicopter fly over the region's fields, where sowing works are underway. According to figures from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic, 23,200 hectares or 33 per cent of arable land have been sown in the region.

Head of the region Ilshat Nuriyev reported Minnikhanov about measures taken to develop facilities of the regional agroindustrial complex.
