Rustam Minnikhanov meets CEO of International Golden Group on the sidelines of IDEX-2019

On February 17, in Abu Dhabi (the UAE), on the sidelines of IDEX-2019 International Defence Exhibition, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with CEO of International Golden Group (IGG) Fadel Al Kaabi.

Established in 2002 and headquartered in Abu Dhabi (the UAE), the IGG focuses on high-quality defense and security solutions. It is the leading supplier for the UAE armed forces.

The IGG also provides advisory services in security, provides maintenance and upgrading of military equipment, air traffic control and navigation services.

Minnikhanov informed the Head of the IGG about the industrial potential of the republic, in particular, about the defense industry enterprises. He noted that high-tech production facilities for manufacturing helicopters, airplanes, ships and various engineering products are concentrated in Tatarstan.

In his turn, Kaabi briefed about the key activities of the company. He expressed his interest in cooperation with Tatarstan and offered to send a working group to the republic for a more detailed study of possible interactions.
