Rustam Minnikhanov holds business meetings at the SPIEF - 2018

On May 24, on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a number of business meetings.

The meeting with Chief Executive Officer of SUEZ Jean-Louis Chaussade was held the first. The SUEZ is the world leader in the area of services for municipalities and industrial enterprises on industrial (including hazardous) and municipal waste management, water supply and water treatment. During the meeting, the parties discussed different ways of cooperation development in the field of operation and maintenance of waste treatment plants.

During the meeting with the member of the Board, general counsel and chief franchise officer of MasterCard Company Timothy Murphy, the parties discussed the results of the implementation of the pilot project “Map of the citizen of the Republic of Tatarstan” in Zelenodolsk.

The prospects of further cooperation between Tatarstan and IBM Corporation in the area of e-health, development of contacts in the area of science and education, use of IBM's experience and technologies in the digital development of the republic were discussed at the meeting between Tatarstan President and senior executives of the company.

The main topic of the discussion at the meeting of Minnikhanov and President, CEO of Air Liquide Company Benoît Potier became the current activity of the Company in Tatarstan.

The French company Air Liquide specializes in manufacturing of technical and medical gases. The Air Liquide has its own production facilities in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone and in the Himgrad Technopolis. Potier told about further plans to expand production in Russia and interact with Tatarstan companies.

At the end of the meeting, the KAMAZ Automaker and the Air Liquide Group signed an investment contract for the supply of technical gases for a period of 20 years.
