Rustam Minnikhanov expresses condolences on the death of Oleg Tabakov

On March 12, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his condolences on the death of People's Artist of the USSR Oleg Tabakov. Tatarstan President sent a relevant telegram to his wife People's Artist of the USSR Marina Zudina.

“Dear Marina Vyacheslavovna!

On behalf of the dramatic art admirers of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf please accept most sincere condolences on the death of you husband, an outstanding figure of the Russian culture and art Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov. His passing is one of those rare, really irreparable loss for the entire nation, when they say “an entire era has left”. The recognized coryphaeus of the national theatrical and film arts with decades of significant creative activity behind him, Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov has rightly taken place in hearts of Russian people as a great actor, a delicate and deep film director, a wise and considerate teacher. People always admired him for his human qualities, everburning optimism, passion, devotion to art and incredible working capacity. He has lived a very beautiful, eventful life and left us an invaluable legacy – a unique world created by the awesome power and variety of the talent of Oleg Tabakov.

These are his unforgettable theatrical and film images, and his gifted students, and his incomparable "Tabakerka", and the great Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, to the development of which Oleg Pavlovich has invested great efforts and energy. So bright, generous and cheerful he remains in our grateful memory.

We deeply mourn, share the pain of this severe loss with you, with the whole family, relatives and friends, with colleagues of Oleg Pavlovich. We wish you strength and resilience in these difficult days.
