Rustam Minnikhanov visits two new production facilities on the territory of Himgrad Technopolis

On December 5, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited two new production facilities in the technopolis “Himgrad”. The total volume of investments to these projects has amounted to one billion roubles.

The first object Minnikhanov visited was the production facility of Irvis Research and Production Enterprise which produces instruments for measuring flow and volume of compatible combustible and inert gases and does research in the field of dynamics of  liquids and gases, and  intensification of heat exchange.

The company was established at the aircraft engine department of Kazan National Research Technical University in 1990.

The gained experience and the efficient management of the enterprise have allowed Irvis Company to implement a new project of extending manufacturing capability on the territory of Himgrad Technopolis.

Thus, on February 16, 2015, Irvis Company and Himgrad Technopolis signed an investment agreement on implementation of the project “Manufacturing of instruments for measuring flow and volume of compatible combustible and inert gases on the territory of Himgrad”.

During his visit, Rustam Minnikhanov was told about the history of the company and about the plans for further development and new inventions.

In his turn, Tatarstan President noted an innovative component of the production facilities and the use of scientific achievements. 

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov visited CottonWay Company, the founder and the leader of the Russian market in rental services and textile treatment (washing, cleaning,disinfection).

Employing over 2000 people, the company has its branches in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhniy Novgorod, and Omsk.

On September 1, 2015, an investment agreement on carrying out industrial production activities on the territory of the Himgrad Tecnhopolis to implement the investment project aimed at establishing a production and logistics complex in Kazan to provide hospital linen rental services for the needs of Tatarstan Ministry of Health was signed.

Rustam Minnikhanov also noted that the company plans to offer its special clothes rental services for large industrial companies. He expressed his confidence that the company will continue to develop and expand its production.
